These booking terms apply to every reservation made with Dhow Cruise Dubai, operated by Blue Coast Travel and Tourism LLC, Al Saqr Business Center, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai Marina, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, through our website, live chat, WhatsApp, email or phone. By making a booking you accept these terms together with our Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy.
1. Booking and confirmation
- A booking request is not confirmed until we confirm it in writing (WhatsApp or email) with a booking number.
- Please check your confirmation carefully. Tell us straight away if any detail — date, time, number of guests, pick-up location — is wrong.
- The lead guest must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for every guest on the booking.
2. Prices
- Prices are shown in AED unless you choose another display currency; other currencies are shown for guidance only and you are charged in AED.
- Prices include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise. Items listed as "not included" (for example alcohol, transfers or photos) are charged extra.
- Prices can change until your booking is confirmed. Once confirmed, the price is fixed unless you change the booking.
- Child prices apply to the ages shown on each package. We may ask for proof of age.
3. Payment
Depending on the package, you may choose to pay later (on confirmation or on the day), pay a deposit now and the balance one day before, or pay in full. The options available are shown on the booking form. Unpaid balances must be settled before the experience starts. Online payments are processed by a secure third-party payment provider.
4. Cancellations and changes
Cancellations, date changes and refunds are governed by our Cancellation Policy, unless the package page or your confirmation states different terms.
5. On the day
- Please arrive at the meeting point, or be ready for pick-up, at the time on your confirmation. Departures are not delayed for late guests.
- Bring a valid photo ID or passport. Emirates ID is required for resident-only offers.
- Timings, routes and running order are approximate and can change because of weather, traffic, port instructions or safety.
- Where alcohol is served, guests must be 21 or older and may be asked for ID. The crew may refuse service to anyone who is intoxicated.
6. Your responsibilities
- Follow the instructions of the captain, crew, driver or guide at all times. They may refuse boarding or end the activity for anyone whose behaviour is unsafe or offensive, without refund.
- Respect UAE laws and local customs, including dress codes at religious and public sites.
- Tell us before booking about any medical condition, pregnancy, mobility needs or allergies that could affect your participation. Desert safaris, dune bashing, balloon and helicopter flights are not suitable for everyone.
- You are responsible for any damage you or your group cause to vessels, vehicles or equipment.
7. Car rental
Car rentals are subject to the rental agreement signed at handover, including driver age, licence, deposit, mileage and insurance conditions. The rental agreement prevails over these terms for car rentals.
8. Liability
We take care in arranging every experience with licensed operators. To the extent permitted by UAE law, we are not liable for indirect losses, for personal belongings lost or damaged during the activity, or for events outside our reasonable control (force majeure), including weather, government or port restrictions, strikes or public-health measures. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Photos and video
Photos and videos on our website show typical experiences; vessels, menus, seating and décor can vary. Operators may take photos on board for promotional use; tell the crew if you would prefer not to appear.
10. Complaints
If something is not right, please tell the crew or message us on WhatsApp during the experience so we can try to fix it immediately. Written complaints can be sent to [email protected] within 14 days of the experience; we reply within 7 working days.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute.
