This guided half-day sightseeing drive gives first-time visitors a quick, well-ordered look at Dubai in roughly four hours. You are collected from your hotel or residence, taken through the old quarter along Dubai Creek, then down the coast road towards the modern landmarks, and brought back to the same address at the end.
The route follows these stops in order: Dubai Creek, Jumeirah Mosque, Jumeirah Beach, a photo stop outside Burj Al Arab, a drive past Madinat Jumeirah, Palm Jumeirah, a photo stop at Atlantis, a view of Dubai Marina, a drive through the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa area, the Islamic Art Gallery and the Ruler's Palace. Most of these are viewing and photo stops from the vehicle or the roadside rather than long visits, which keeps the day compact.
The Creek is where traditional dhows still share the water with modern boats, and it is the historic heart of the city. Jumeirah Mosque is one of the best known mosques in Dubai and is a popular place for photographs; if you plan to step out there, wear modest clothing that covers shoulders and knees. Later in the day the drive reaches the Palm, the Marina skyline and the towers around Downtown.
