The Ocean Empress sails from Dubai Marina along the JBR waterfront toward Bluewaters Island, with views of the Palm Jumeirah and the Dubai Harbour skyline. The open decks give good photo angles of the lit-up towers. Exact path can change with conditions.

Know before you go

• Boarding is at 20:00 and the cruise runs 20:30 to 22:30; arrive on time with your voucher.
• Meeting point is beside Silverene Tower, next to the Crowne Plaza hotel in Dubai Marina.
• Dress code is smart casual. Beachwear is not allowed.
• Bring a valid photo ID such as a passport or Emirates ID.
• Hotel pickup and drop-off is not included; metro, taxi or your own car all work for reaching Dubai Marina.
• Outside food, drinks and alcohol may not be brought on board.
• The vessel has four decks and onboard restrooms.
• Photographing or filming other guests is not allowed.
• UAE law applies to alcohol: guests must be 21 or over to drink. Alcohol is only served on tiers that include it.
• Weather and safety conditions can change timings, and we may reschedule.

Our cancellation schedule: cancelling more than 30 days before the experience is refunded in full; 15 to 30 days before carries a 30% fee; 7 to 14 days before a 50% fee; 24 hours to 6 days before a 70% fee; and inside 24 hours, or if you do not turn up at the scheduled time, the full amount is charged. Rescheduling is always offered as an alternative to paying a cancellation fee. We may only cancel for a boat breakdown or maintenance, in which case we will try to move you to another date or vessel.
